Chapter 5: Conclusion
5.1 Summary of Findings
The collected data proved that the systems we developed works, and are capable of making weather forecasts. We can also conclude that an increase in VLF radio signals indicates an impending storm.
5.2 Practical Applications
An on-site weather monitoring station in SST could ensure reliability and speed in the broadcasting of weather in the SST region, allowing staff and students to make arrangements in the event of impending wet weather.
5.3 Areas for Further Study
More antennas could be developed to collect radio signals of greater frequency ranges. A more detailed study into lightning could also be conducted. Lastly, we could develop a lightning warning system and weather forecast system in school.
